THE NAME

The NASA Opportunity project took planet exploration to the next level, sending more than just a satellite and sensors to another planet. Originally planned for just 90 days to seek evidence of water, the mission rover lasted nearly 15 years, exceeding all engineering expectations. Traversing the Martian landscape, it also sent imagery that captured the world’s imagination.
